Information on the Law on the Protection of Personal Data
As Kayten, we attach great importance to the processing and protection of your personal data within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”). With this clarification text, we would like to inform you about the purposes for which your personal data is processed, to whom and for what purposes it can be transferred, our data processing methods and your legal rights.
1. Data Controller As Kayten, as the data controller, we are engaged in processing your personal data.
2. Personal Data Processed and Purposes of Processing The personal data we collect can be divided into various categories such as identity information, contact information, user information, financial information, visual and audio data. This data is processed in order to provide our services, increase customer satisfaction, fulfill our legal obligations, engage in marketing activities and for many other purposes.
3. Transfer of Personal Data Your personal data may be transferred to third parties, our business partners, suppliers, authorized public institutions and organizations and legally authorized private persons in line with the above-mentioned purposes and in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK.
4. Method of Collection of Personal Data and Legal Reason Your personal data is collected in electronic and physical environments through our website, mobile applications, call center, physical forms and similar channels. Your data may be processed in accordance with the legal grounds specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the LPPD.
5. Your Rights under the LPPD Pursuant to Article 11 of the LPPD, you have the right to learn whether your personal data has been processed, to request information if it has been processed, to learn the purpose of processing the data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose, to know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred at home or abroad, to request correction of the data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing, to request the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of Article 7 of the LPPD, to request notification of the transactions made to third parties to whom personal data is transferred, to request that the processed data be analyzed exclusively through automated systems and that the result is to the detriment of the person himself/herself. You have the right to request the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of Article 7 of the KVKK, to request notification of the transactions made to third parties to whom personal data is transferred, to object to the occurrence of a result to the detriment of the person himself/herself by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems, and to demand compensation for the damage in case of damage due to unlawful processing of data.
